Provides a range of crisis and preventative services for young people including accommodation, advocacy and improved access to work, education and leisure.
Our support in 2007 included the donation of business skills and teambuilding challenges. CCP were the main beneficiary of our Christmas Appeal receiving toys ad hampers for families and vulnerable young people.
Swindon Carers Centre is the local Princess Royal Trust Carers Centre. The centre helps people in Swindon who have caring responsibilities and supports self-help groups.
Our 2007 grant of £15,400 funded a young carers support worker, core costs as well as part funding their Carers Right's Day.
Gives free respite care for severely disabled young children up to six years old and their families in Gloucestershire. The trust also provides financial assistance for families and loans specialist equipment.
Our £10,000 grant in 2007 funds the annual respite nursing costs for four children in Cheltenham.
In addition, staff have completed Challenges to develop their front and back gardens and run a family fun day to celebrate the organisation's 18th birthday.
Helps people with mental health problems to make the most of learning opportunities through horticultural and craft projects.
Our £14,600 grant in 2007 has part funded the allotment project and the introduction of new craft initiatives. We have also provided business skill and volunteers to help TWIGS organise their 10th birthday celebration concert.
Welcome Centre
Is a family centre providing a range of support services for disadvantaged people in the Park North area of Swindon.
Every 30 minutes, a child loses a mother, father, brother or sister. Working closely with children, young people and parents across Gloucestershire, Winston's Wish helps and supports them following a close family death. It also campaigns nationally for bereaved children.
In 2007 we donated our business skills to develop a new brand image.
