The Openwork Foundation

We aim to support some of the most disadvantaged people in society and enable them to lead more independent lives.

Around ,3,000 Financial Advisers and employed staff support the Openwork Foundation to raise money, agree policy and then decide which charities to support.

The financial advisers and employees of Openwork raise money from organising raffles and collections at dinners and conferences, generously sponsor colleagues who take part in the London Marathon and our annual Cycle Challenge. And around 30% of our self-employed Financial Advisers give regularly through Gift Aid.

Since 1981, we’ve supported more than 720 projects and donated over £15.9 million to local, national and overseas voluntary organisations.

Past themes include mobility, families and young people.

What is our current theme?

Though our Cares 4 Kids theme, we aim to support children and young people aged 0-18 who are disadvantaged in some way – socially, mentally or physically.

Financial advisers and employees of Openwork nominate all projects and we only accept applications from those who have been invited to apply.
