Help the Aged - Call in Time

Call in Time

Help the Aged and Zurich Community Trust are working in partnership on the latest initiative on our Older People programme -Call in Time.

The programme employs a mix of paid workers and volunteers (including 75 Zurich employees) who make a regular reassuring and friendly phone call to check the well being of some of our most isolated and lonely older people.

The programme is now in its third year with eight pilot projects providing help and support to over 500 older people.

Help the Aged have committed further funding to develop another 10 projects over the next two years and are adopting it as one of their long term care services.
