Strategic planning

Strategic planning workshops help board directors make informed decisions about future business strategies.

With our help participants take an in-depth look at the threats and opportunities presented by the business’s current position and the future trends that are likely to affect their market. Developing a better understanding of the choices presented by future uncertainties can be achieved using a variety of tools including scenario planning.

Strategic planning workshops often incorporate or closely follow on from a Total Risk Profiling workshop (see below).

Total Risk Profiling

We can organise and facilitate Total Risk Profiling workshops that combine our expertise with the knowledge and understanding of risk that already exists within your business. By working through a carefully designed process, your chosen team will describe what they think the risks are. Then we’ll help them to assess the impact and likelihood of these risks, before prioritising those which exceed the level of risk the organisation is comfortable with. Finally the teams are encouraged to develop action plans that improve those prioritised risks.

This approach delivers well-defined processes that help you to understand and manage risk in your business. It also improves the expertise and skills of people in your business who manage risk.

WorkOut

Through WorkOut people from all levels of an organisation work together with an expert facilitator to come up with ideas to reduce costs, increase profitability and improve service.
