Stakeholder Communication - a critical piece of the risk management jigsaw
Any stakeholders, be they shareholders, lenders, employees, customers, suppliers, or other external groups, will gain greater knowledge of a business from a deeper understanding of its risks.
Even if an organisation is committed to well-established, rigorous and embedded risk management systems, it needs to communicate that fact adequately to stakeholders. If risk is not well communicated or if the systems simply do not exist, then the organisation may miss an opportunity to add value.
