Practical application of quantitative techniques to enterprise risk management

In the UK, risk management frameworks are generally well-established in most organisations. Quantitative evaluation of these risks is often well-developed for larger companies but predominantly only in the area of ‘pure’ financial risk management associated with currency, market and credit exposures. As a consequence, many companies find themselves with a full catalogue of business risks but without a clear notion of what to do with them in order to gain extra value for the business from their active management.
