9 October 2006 - Zurich Private Clients is today responding to the increase in affluent members of society by launching a new ultra high net worth insurance product called Ultimate Home.
Ultimate Home targets the most affluent people in the UK and features some market-leading cover levels and increased limits. The new policy is primarily aimed at those with over £200,000 of home contents, with no upper limit and includes a free concierge service to help the policyholder with all their lifestyle needs – a unique service from Zurich Private Clients (ZPC).
The after-effects of air rage and aggravated muggings are also new elements in the Ultimate Home cover, joining car jacking and road rage - elements that have become standard features in Zurich’s high net worth policies.
Nick Brabham, Head of Zurich Private Clients, said, “We recognise that there are more and more people in the UK who are now moving into the mid and high net worth bracket and we have responded to this shift by launching this new product. We are delighted to be offering the Ultimate Home product for those ultra high net worth customers.
“We believe that Zurich is now the only insurer to provide cover for all people no matter what their financial status; from basic policies all the way through to the specialist services on offer to ultra high net worth policyholders. The changes we have made will also make it easier for our brokers who will now be able to move people around the product range more easily depending on the policyholder’s needs.”
In addition to the new policy, ZPC is moving to new premises in Wilmslow and is recruiting 13 new members of staff to support both the launch of their new product and the integration of its old medium and high net worth solutions into one suite of insurance products.
