Guardian Society Debate

Zurich Municipal has teamed up with Society Guardian to host an exclusive roundtable debate on the changing role of local government and the implications of increased outsourcing and partnership working.

Attendees from across a spectrum of local government, community and emergency services and support services came together to discuss some of the key issues emerging from the increased need to generate significant savings and efficiencies whilst delivering key community outcomes including:

• getting risk up the boardroom agenda
• the impact of local strategic partnerships (LSPs) and roles and responsibilities of member organisations
• working with and understanding the voluntary sector
• contract management, exit strategies and business continuity planning
