Zurich has secured a sponsorship deal with the Guardian to sponsor its new Voluntary Sector Network website.
The website is dedicated to professionals who work in, and with, the voluntary sector, enabling them to engage with each other, explore common issues and debate professional challenges.
As one of the UK’s leading insurers of community and social organisations, Zurich will be known to site users and will be able to offer expert advice and information.
Paul Emery, Head of Community and Social Organisations, Zurich, says: “Zurich’s sponsorship of the Guardian’s new Voluntary Sector Network provides an excellent opportunity for us to demonstrate our commitment to supporting the voluntary sector. With regular editorial, social media feeds, blogs and live Q&A debates, we can educate, advise and work with voluntary organisations to truly support them through these challenging times.”
Community Toolkit
The Voluntary Sector Network website will also act as a portal for users looking for information on individual community voluntary engagement, via Zurich’s new Community Toolkit. This unique website (due to be launched summer 2011) is designed to protect and support individuals and small groups setting up and running their own community activities.
