Summer News & Views - Hitting desks soon with an extra thud.

The Summer edition of News & Views will be hitting customers’ desks soon leading with an article about supply chain risk.

 

Previously local authorities have undertaken the provisioning of local services within their own operations, such as social care and education.  Now they are increasingly moving to the new role of strategic commissioners of services.  This newly extended and complex role and the impact on managing risks are explored in the first of two articles on supply chain management.

 

Zurich Municipal commissioned David Kaye, a widely acknowledged expert in risk management and business continuity, to write a Briefing Paper on Public Sector supply chain and readers will receive their own copy of the Executive Summary with the Summer edition of News and Views.
