Zurich Municipal announce changes to drive greater regional and customer focus

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide our customers with the expert focus they value and trust, Zurich Municipal is delighted to announce a restructuring exercise within it’s Sales teams which will take effect from 1st May 2011. The restructure enhances our direct dealing business model and will ensure that we continue to be visibly focussed with strong relationships that our customers really value. As a high touch customer focussed operation our customer relationships are a key part of our proposition which has been and will continue to be the mainstay of our successful business model.

To further enhance this we will expand to 5 regions headed up by:
Scotland Regional Manager: John Currie
North Regional Manager: Kevin Morris
Midlands & East Regional Manager: Chris Knowles
Wales & West Regional Manager: Jerry Fox
London & South East Regional Manager: Andrew Grantham

In addition to the new regions and to enhance service levels, we will also be increasing the numbers of Risk and Insurance Consultants in the field throughout 2011.
Whilst creating the new structure, we will ensure that there will be minimal disruption to the customer relationships with very few changes in the day to day sales contact.

Barbara Faal, currently our Regional Manager in Wales & West, will take up a new national development role employing her extensive experience of Public Sector customers and the Zurich Municipal business model to add to the ZM proposition externally.

This is a really positive restructure that will allow us to get even closer to our customers at a difficult time for the public sector. We look forward to providing an enhanced level of service to our customers going forward by making our regions smaller and creating additional resource over a sustained period.
