Zurich Municipal launches two risk publications at NHF Finance 2011

The National Housing Federation Exhibition is the biggest social housing event in the calendar and Zurich Municipal is taking the opportunity to launch two risk publications:

Achieving resilience in social housing: developing a ‘whole risk’ approach to managing risk and uncertainty

Tough Choices:  different perspectives on long-term risks facing the social housing sector

Our Achieving resilience in social housing publication looks at how registered social housing providers can become more resilient by using risk management to build a resilience approach and manage the new and emerging risks they face.

Our Tough Choices report is specific to the social housing sector and follows on from the full paper that was launched in November 2010.  It contains some updated research and highlights the risks that are likely to face the sector over the next few years.

This year’s NHF Finance conference takes place between 23rd-24th March at Warwick University and is focused on helping housing associations to survive, following the budget cuts and changes in Government policy.

Simon Dixon, Head of Housing at Zurich Municipal and Joseph White, Senior Strategic Risk Consultant at Zurich Municipal will be hosting a breakout session looking at the real risks facing the social housing sector.  This session forms part of the Risk and Challenges work-stream and takes place at 11.50 on 24th March.

Visitors to the 2011 NHF Finance Exhibition will be able to find Zurich Municipal on stand 96. Make sure you visit us to find out more about our risk publications.

We look forward to seeing you there!
