Japanese Earthquake/Tsunami update

There has been considerable coverage in the media of the situation in Japan, following the devastating earthquake and tsunami. While rescue efforts continue in the north east of the country, the situation is evolving due to the damage to a nuclear facility in the region. Regular bulletins are being issued by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and updates are available from their website. A link can be found at the foot of this note. For individuals indemnified by a Zurich Municipal travel policy, cover exists for both cancellation and curtailment.
