In 2007 we became one of the first signatories to the Association of British Insurers (ABI) ClimateWise principles, demonstrating our commitment in seeking to promote awareness and develop products to help customers adapt to the effects of climate change.

By becoming a signatory, Zurich has committed to agreeing to the following six principles:

  • Leading in risk analysis
  • Informing public policy making
  • Support climate awareness among our customer
  • Incorporating climate change into investment strategies
  • Reducing the environmental impact of our business
  • Reporting and being accountable
