Pressure Systems Training

The Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 place duties and responsibilities on anyone who has any sort of involvement with pressure systems but the largest burden of responsibility falls on the user/owner of the pressure system. It is therefore important the responsible person(s) within such organisations maintain an awareness of their legal duties.

During the seminar we will be covering the following topics:

Overview of the regulations, including:

  • scope
  • definitions
  • exemptions, New construction and marking of new equipment.
    Examination.
    In-service repairs and modification.
    Reporting.

    Hired and leased equipment.
    Incidents and failures.

Electrical Training

The main legislation governing electrical safety has been in place since 1989 but there is still a lack of awareness of the requirements.
It is important to ensure that whoever is responsible for managing your electrical installations, is kept aware of their legal and civil responsibilities.

Under the Gas Safety Regulations, failure to implement and maintain adequate maintenance systems, procedures and records could mean that if an accident occurs in connection with your gas maintenance programme, then your organisation may face both prosecution by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and/or a civil case for damages.

We will be using a Gas industry leading consultant to deliver the training, all responsible persons within your organisation should take advantage of this opportunity.

  • Areas of Responsibilities
