Pension Plans

For individuals

Our plans may be right for you if you’re looking for:

  • a wide investment choice
  • flexibility on how you pay into your pension; you can make regular and one-off payments
  • control over how and when you take your benefits, whether you're looking for a drawdown pension or to use your fund to buy an annuity
  • choices in providing for your dependants if you die.

You should be prepared to invest for the long term (10 years or more) and accept the relevant risks. You should also be under age 70 and normally resident in the UK. Please ask your adviser for more information.

Self Invested Personal Pension

The Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) may be right for you:

  • If you're looking for a pension plan that accepts a transfer from an existing pension scheme
  • If you wish to save for retirement
  • If you are seeking an income in retirement.

Protected Rights Transfer Plan

The Protected Rights Transfer Plan may be right for you, if you're looking for:

  • an option to transfer contracted-out pensions rights.

For Trustees of existing pension schemes

The Trustee Investment plan may be right if:

  • the Trustees require a lump sum and or regular payment facility
  • the pension scheme requires money to be invested for the medium to long term (5 to 10 years or more)
  • the Zurich pension funds chosen are consistent with the pension scheme’s risk profile.
