Zurich wins top accolade at British Insurance Awards

Zurich won the very prestigious, top award of “Life Insurer of the Year 2009” at last night’s British Insurance Awards, held at the Royal Albert Hall, London.

Why we won

The focus of our nomination was our customers and the community, – drawing special attention to Treating Customers Fairly (TCF), customer needs, product innovation, and our enhanced quality of customer service.

The award itself was judged by a 24 person panel consisting of industry experts, representatives from professional bodies and members of trade press organisations.

This was a closely fought award with HSBC Insurance, NFU Mutual and Wesleyan Assurance Society (last year’s winners) all being short-listed for the top prize.
