Zurich, February 1, 2005 – Zurich Financial Services Group (Zurich) announced that with effect from January 31, 2005 Zurich London will be renamed Zurich Global Corporate UK. This change is in line with the strategic direction announced in April 2004 and the subsequent corporate reorganization that created a new Global Corporate Business Division under the leadership of Geoff Riddell.
Markus Hongler, Chief Executive Officer Global Corporate in Europe said: "Building on from our success serving customers in London, we are now able to offer our proposition to corporate customers throughout the UK as well. Global Corporate UK will continue to offer long-term partnerships and a consistently high standard of service that remain our core values."
