Zurich Financial Services Group appoints Director of Business Development
Zurich, June 30, 2005 – Zurich Financial Services Group (Zurich) announced the appointment of Charles Yates (57) to the new position of Executive Vice President, Director of Business Development for the General Insurance business. Reporting to E. Randall Clouser, Group Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Corporate Communications, he will bring a Group-wide approach to building strong customer relations management programs for Zurich's corporate customers, both in the United States and globally. He is based in Atlanta and will work closely with Randall Clouser on customer events.
Charles Yates joins Zurich from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he last served as a principal responsible for client relationship management and business development in Atlanta. After graduating from Washington and Lee University, he held management positions with banking and real estate companies in the United States. Prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, Charles Yates was a founder and principal in a real estate investment and management firm based in Atlanta.
