New service from Zurich helps advisers boost client banks

1 June 2004

Zurich Mortgage Network (ZMN) has launched a new appointment service which could help advisers to maximise their most valuable asset - their clients.  From 1 June, the Zurich Appointment Generation team will be on hand to provide vital support to help advisers manage existing relationships and build new ones.  And from July, leads will also be available via various new web links.

The new service offers a variety of options, depending on how much or how little assistance is required:

  • At the request of the adviser, existing customers are contacted by the Appointments team to find out when it would be convenient to make the next appointment.
  • Prospective customers are contacted to arrange an appointment if appropriate.  Confirmed appointments are emailed to the adviser.
  • Positive leads from a number of mortgage related websites, search engines and helplines are redirected to Zurich advisers.

Of course, there are other ways to supplement these routes to improved client volume, such as requesting referrals from existing clients, but using third party support to maintain regular contact with your clients and prospective clients can be a very cost effective and labour saving solution.

Richard Coulson, Director of Zurich Mortgage Network, has introduced the Appointment team after wide consultation with network members: "Client management should be a high priority.  Many advisers simply do not have time to manage their client banks as effectively as they could be and many opportunities are being missed.  Our new services ensure that no client gets forgotten.  The team acts as an extension of the adviser's own business, so the service is apparently seamless.

"Feedback from our members indicated the need to innovate away from the more traditional 'pay per lead' model.  Our new range of options give advisers complete freedom and flexibility to choose the level of support which is right for their business."
