Zurich Insurance Building Guarantee is awarded chartered status

Zurich Insurance Building Guarantee has been recognised by the CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) as a Chartered Building Consultancy (CBC). The award was presented to Martin Horsler, Building Guarantee Manager for Zurich by the CIOB’s Chief Executive, Chris Blythe and the CIOB’s South East Regional Director, Angus Foster.  

Angus Foster said, "The CIOB is delighted to award the title of Chartered Building Consultancy to Zurich Insurance Building Guarantee. Zurich regard Chartered status, and the support of the Institute as important to their success, and CIOB is delighted to be associated with this high profile and innovative organisation."

Zurich Insurance Building Guarantee has also signed a Training Partnership agreement with the CIOB, committing the department to a long-term strategy of training and continuing professional development (CPD) for their technical employees.

Martin Horsler said, "For any homeowner and the majority of businesses, their property is the single most important possession they have so we know how important it is for them to have peace of mind when buying a new property or extending an existing one. The qualification of Chartered Building Consultancy is recognition, by the body that sets the standard for the construction industry, of the professionalism and technical expertise achieved by Zurich Insurance Building Guarantee."
