Zurich has produced a Fleet Handbook that provides essential information on all of its fleet services with details on how to access them. The handbook also comes with an emergency helpline card and leaflet that makes reporting accidents quick and easy.
The card which is called "expect more" contains the commercial claims centre telephone number as well as key policy information that should be to hand when calling. Lines are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The leaflet contains tear off cards for use when third parties are involved to encourage them to contact the helpline even if Zurich is not the insurer.
So even if the driver is not insured with Zurich, the incident management and claims service will still help by arranging a hire vehicle for the time the vehicle is off the road, BUPA treatment and repairs to the vehicle.
David Smith, Head of Business Operations for Zurich’s UK Commercial business said: "The quicker we get the details of an accident, the faster we can get drivers back on the road."
"Having information to hand when you need it is crucial, that’s why we developed the "expect more" emergency helpline card. By calling our helpline, we can also remove the burden of paperwork as this means that you won’t have to fill out a paper claim form."
