Zurich re-launches commercial car and goods carrying vehicle cover

Zurich has re-launched its commercial car and goods carrying commercial vehicle policies so that customers can get excellent cover and benefits in one package.

Available via brokers over the Internet, small businesses can get cover in just seven minutes and Zurich issues the certificate within 48 hours removing the need for cover notes. Plus Zurich will also register the vehicles on the Motor Insurers Database (MID) and update MID whenever necessary.

David Smith, Business Operations Director for Zurich's UK Commercial business said: "Small businesses operate in a fiercely competitive environment. They need to be free to focus on their core business and reduce the amount of time spent on red tape and administration. Our new set of on-line insurance products are designed to be easy to understand, flexible and available at the press of a button."

Aimed at small businesses with up to four commercial vehicles, Zurich's goods carrying commercial vehicle cover was the first policy to have uninsured loss recovery as standard and Zurich's commercial car cover places no age restriction on its customers' vehicles provided the vehicle group is suitable.
