Zurich puts customer first with new Deal Architect role

In 2002, Zurich London launched a Deal Architect team led by Tom White 'Head of Deal Architecture' to develop new and innovative solutions for its corporate customers.

Zurich London has always taken a 'different' approach to working with customers and has worked hard to shake off the traditional image of the insurer as bureaucratic, inflexible and process rather than customer focused. This role was developed with input from both our customers and brokers with the purpose of enabling brokers to have an effective communication channel with one specific person on multi line offerings.

The role of a Deal Architect was developed at Zurich London in response to customer requests to simplify its engagement with them by enabling customers to work with a key contact point able to lead and develop our underwriting design and negotiation processes for complex and multi-line insurance solutions.

The team has been complimented by the recent arrival of Reto Arrigoni who will report into Tom.

Reto was formerly Account Manager at Zurich North America where he worked on the Corporate Customer Casualty team and was responsible for a portfolio of large accounts.  Prior to that Reto worked for the group in Zurich as an Alternative Risk Finance specialist for corporate customers.
