26th September 2002: Zurich Financial Services has joined forces with BUPA to offer bespoke medical insurance cover to Zurich's customers from 1 October 2002. The partnership will enable Zurich and BUPA to offer each other's products to their respective customers.
BUPA Heartbeat will give Zurich customers flexible cover, through a personal health plan and can be arranged according to each customer's individual needs. Customers will also have 24 hour access to a dedicated personal health care team for information and guidance on any health or medical issue.

BUPA Heartbeat offers a range of flexible options based on individual circumstances and allows customers to select their most convenient payment method, including fixing subscriptions for five or ten years.
