Zurich Life to recruit an additional 60 sales consultants

Zurich’s UK Life business is to embark on a new drive to recruit 60 sales consultants.

In April this year, the business announced its intention to recruit 30 high performing sales consultants to help support the business in achieving its ambitious growth plans. 26 positions have already been filled; and the business is now set to extend the successful “What if the grass really is greener?” campaign to attract an additional 60 consultants with a mix of pensions, investment and protection experience.

A heavyweight recruitment advertising campaign will appear throughout the Autumn and Zurich’s www.thegreenestgrass.com microsite is to be updated. In addition Zurich has briefed a number of recruitment agencies to begin the search in earnest for top quality candidates.

Zurich’s UK Life business has ambitious objectives to become a top 3 player in each of its chosen markets and to underpin Global Life’s strategy to become a top 5 player across Europe by 2011.

Zurich’s new generation of pensions and protection propositions has led to an increased demand from IFA’s for face to face consultants and therefore growing its sales capacity is vital to enable the business to seize the opportunities they have identified for increasing penetration in their target markets.

Tony Solomon, Business Development Director said, “We have made a significant investment in our new generation of pensions, protection and investment propositions and have built world class e-capability. To achieve our growth targets we must continue to develop the skills of our existing sales consultants and to attract more highly talented people to join our business.”
