Personal Accident Insurance protects you and one of your most important assets – your employees, who are pivotal to the success of your business. This insurance also offers you the opportunity to enhance your company’s employee benefit package.


The key features of the cover include:


  • Accidental death and permanent disabling injuries. Unlike Employer’s Liability insurance, the sum insured is based on either a multiple of salary benefit or flat per capita amount determined by you plus liability or negligence does not have to be proven before a benefit payment can be made for accidental death or permanent disabling injuries.
  • Additional payments for serious disabling injuries such as paraplegia and quadriplegia.
  • Dependents’ benefit per child in the case of accidental death of the insured person
  • Damage to personal effects such as clothing following unprovoked assault
  • Funeral expenses
  • An income replacement benefit, for example a weekly benefit following hospitalisation from a sporting injury
