Charities Trustee Network

CTN logo

Charity Trustee Networks (CTN) and Zurich have responded to the unease of charity trustees concerning their legal liabilities by creating a membership scheme, trusteenet plus. Members of trusteenet plus receive a tailored Trustee Indemnity Insurance “safety-net scheme” as well as additional benefits in the form of support and best practice advice which helps them in the trustee role.

The scheme provides individual trustee members with cover for any work carried out on behalf of all of the charities they represent, as well as any claims costs. In addition, Zurich provides support in the event that a claim is made against a trustee.   The scheme ensures that Trustees:

  • are protected personally for their involvement in their chosen charitable trust
  • receive professional and confidential support from an experienced Zurich team, who will help them defend any claim should it arise.
