Playing our part in the community
At Zurich, we believe it’s vital we play a responsible and caring role within our communities. Which is why so many people throughout the organisation devote their time, money and energy towards supporting others in the UK and beyond.
From fundraising and giving grants to volunteering, we are proud to help disadvantaged people discover an independent future for themselves. What's more, Zurich's community involvement provides our people with a wealth of opportunities for giving something back, building their skills and enhancing their careers.
Here are just some of the ways our people show they care...
- Give from their pay every month, which Zurich then matches
- Volunteer their time through our annual 'Challenge' programme, lunchtime volunteering and though sharing their business skills
- Raise money through department activities and sponsored events
- Be a School Governor or Charity Board Trustee in their community efforts (Zurich supports employees by awarding the organisation with £200 grant Award)
- Devote their time to community organisations by sharing their skills
- Give grants to charities of our staff's choice
