Corporate Social Responsibility - Environment
We believe that helping to protect the environment is important. To make sure we're doing all we can, we've set ourselves environmental goals that work together with our social and economic objectives.
The environmental policy for the Zurich Financial Services Group guides what we do and it's the UK Environmental Operations Group's job to propose environmental initiatives to the UK CSR Council. The group's priorities are energy conservation, waste minimisation and the development of integrated transport plans.
We're also working to improve our environmental management system (EMS) and to introduce ways of measuring our environmental performance.
