What will I do?
Marketing is charged with ensuring that Zurich understands its customers and markets, offers products and services that meet their needs, and that customers understand the value that Zurich offers to them. Joining Zurich’s Marketing team means that you’ll have the opportunity to shape our business and how we communicate with our customers.
Zurich has embarked on a long-term investment in its brand. Joining the Marketing team will give you the opportunity to help us create something unique - the first global insurance brand. Within a few weeks of joining us you ’ll be part of a team and responsible for your own projects and tasks. You’ll have an unparalleled opportunity to create something new and exciting, and to see the impact of your work in our products, our advertising and our strategy.
We are looking for graduates to work in three areas of Marketing:
Customer marketing – helping us identify attractive customer segments, define appropriate marketing strategies and objectives, set and manage our budgets, and develop relevant and exciting new products.
Strategic marketing – helping us understand our customers, their needs and the issues they face. This team uses quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques to ensure we continually refresh and nurture our customer insight.
Marketing communications – creating marketing campaigns, project managing their delivery, managing communications with our customers, assessing the effectiveness of our campaigns, promoting the Zurich brand and managing our relationship with our advertising agencies and partners.
All three areas work in partnership, supporting and challenging each other to drive performance and output.
What skills will I need?
We ’re keen to build the quality and knowledge of the team, so will be looking for exceptional candidates with marketing and business degrees.

Where will I work?
Marketing is an integral part of Zurich’s businesses, so you’ll have the opportunity to work in Birmingham, Farnborough or Fareham on the South Coast. Your job may also require you to work in any of our branch of offices, from London to Glasgow.
As an international company, there are also opportunities to work overseas. A number of people from the UK Marketing team are currently based in Zurich either on secondment or in full-time roles.
