Zurich in the UK - Community Initiatives
Some of our community involvement programmes include:
Zurich Community Trust
- Breaking the Cycle - £1.7 million over four years with Addaction to break the generational cycle of drug misuse.
- Call in Time - £1.2 million over 7 years with Age UK to support the most vulnerable older people.
- Young People's Mental Health - £1.7 million over 5 years to support children and young people with mental health issues.
- Southern India – an ongoing programme which combines long term funding with six National Governmental Organisations (NGOs). There are also personal development opportunities for senior managers.
 Employee Involvement
- Since 1981, Zurich Community trust has donated over
£60 million.
- Over 600 charities are supported every year.
- Zurich employees raise over £500,000 each year.
- Around 39,000 hours are volunteered by around 40% of
Zurich's people.
