What to do in the event of a fire
The effects of fire can be thoroughly devastating, both to your home and to you. Once you’ve got yourself checked out, we can put you on the right road to rebuilding what you’ve lost:
- If you’re suffering from respiratory problems, go straight to your GP or to your nearest A&E.
- Don’t re-enter your home until advised to do so. It’s often unsafe.
- As soon as you can, contact us by calling 0870 010 8888 or speak to your broker.
- Don’t try to clean up the mess as if you use the wrong equipment, you could end up causing more damage. We’ll advise you about specialist cleaners.
