Claims
Our claims promise to you
When you use our claims and approved repairers network, we make three pledges to you:
1. Contact with us will be simple. We promise to:
- Be available 24 hours a day, every day, to report an accident or vehicle theft.
- Provide emergency assistance to recover your car and passengers to a place of safety following an accident if required.
- Give you a unique claim reference which will be all you need to provide if you wish to contact us again.
- Keep you informed of key developments using the medium of your choice.
2. The handling of your claim will be fair and transparent. We promise to:
- Ensure that your claim is dealt with by a trained specialist.
- Explain how we’ll handle your claim and advise you what to do.
- Arrange for your nearest Zurich approved repairer to sort out your vehicle to strict quality control standards.
- Arrange the start of your repair at a time that suits you, whenever possible.
- Ensure that you receive a three year guarantee on the quality of your bodywork repair.
- Employ a specialist solicitor to help you recover any uninsured losses which leave you out of pocket after an accident which was not your fault – and at no additional cost to you.
3. We will keep you mobile. If you have a courtesy car included in your policy, we promise to:
- Provide you with a courtesy car for the duration of your accident repairs.
- Give you the opportunity to hire an alternative vehicle at a discounted daily rate if requested.
