ZGP24 – Zurich's Virtual GP, physiotherapy and dietitian service

Accessing timely medical support can sometimes be a challenge and cause stress and worry, but with ZGP24, you can easily access clinical support when it’s needed.

This service, provided by Health Hero offers you and your family members and dependants living in the same household, unlimited access to book consultations with practicing NHS doctors and appropriate clinicians and at a time and day that suits you.

What does ZGP24 offer?

Virtual GP key features

Get fast, convenient access to support from a qualified GP, whenever it’s needed.

  • Book unlimited appointments at the touch of a button through the ZGP24 app or by calling the 24/7 customer service team
  • Appointments can provide advice, reassurance and (where appropriate) diagnosis from an experienced, practising NHS GP
  • Select a time and day that’s convenient
  • Choose a video or phone consultation
  • Choose a male or female doctor if there's preference
  • Arrange private prescriptions for collection from a pharmacy or chargeable delivery to any UK address
  • Arrange referral letters and fit notes, with no charge
  • A translation service is available in more than 200 languages
  • Get answers to any questions that might normally be asked to a GP

If you want to arrange a consultation for a dependant child who is under the age of 16, you or another parent/legal guardian must book their appointment and must also attend the consultation.

You'll need to ask your employer for a unique code to access this service. Your employer will have been sent a welcome pack from HealthHero, which will contain the unique code you need.

ZGP24 is an additional service available to all customers. The ZGP24 service is provided by HealthHero. The service is not a replacement for your own GP. Although most patients will receive advice, reassurance and where appropriate, diagnosis, from HealthHero’s own doctors, if your symptoms require a physical examination or a repeat prescription, you may be referred to your own GP. 

This service is not part of the insurance contract and is non-contractual. It is not provided by Zurich and can be amended or withdrawn at any time. This service is free to access.
