Residential Lets has been specially created to offer protection for landlord's buildings and landlord's business contents cover under one policy, providing peace of mind for your customers. Residential Lets is aimed at the small property investor with domestic homes which will be let to individual tenants.

Additionally, Landlord's Legal Expenses is available as an optional extension and is particularly beneficial for 'first time' buy-to-let customers who may lack the experience to predict the many pitfalls involved in letting a property, and it provides you with the opportunity to improve the revenue stream for your business.

Landlord's buildings cover:

• A high blanket sum insured of £500,000 is provided as standard for the majority of risks, so there’s no need to establish rebuild costs. And we will consider higher levels where appropriate.

Landlord's business contents cover:

• The ability to provide cover for buildings, as well as the attractive benefit of £10,000 landlord's business contents cover as standard. And the flexibility to increase the cover to £40,000 for an additional premium.

Landlord's Legal Expenses cover:

The opportunity to provide a more comprehensive package of cover for your clients, allowing them up to £50,000 of external costs for legal advice and assistance for incidents such as:

• Landlords in dispute with their tenants at the insured property over rent arrears.
• Recovering possession of their property.
• Damage to the insured property.
