If your customer's claim is covered we will appoint the legal representative in their name and on their behalf. It is important that they do not appoint a solicitor themselves.
- We can arrange for an appropriate registered tradesman to visit.
- Your customer will have to pay any call out charge for the work but if the loss or damage is covered by their policy they can submit a claim for reimbursement (subject to any policy excess).
- Tradesman sent out have no authority to advise on what is and what is not covered by your customer’s policy.
- Your customer must comply with the claim procedures contained in the policy wording, and the policy conditions.
- Your customer must report any loss, theft or malicious damage to the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number.
