Launching the Zurich Inspection Portal
Zurich Building Guarantee has introduced a unique web based inspection portal, fully password protected, that allows you to take photos of what needs to be inspected by us, or by anybody else you might want to include (be it the architect, the engineer, the site manager, the sub-contractor, the surveyor or any other key person working on the project), and upload them to a specialist inspection portal website. We will take a look and report back. We will still visit yoursites, but you will no longer need to wait for us to show up unless of course you prefer it that way.

We recognise that current inspections often intrude into your work programme and sales deadlines, and we know they are a factor that can cause expensive delays. By introducing the Zurich Inspection Portal we believe we can eliminate these issues and continue to deliver the best service possible to you. We are also confident that the new online system helps to make these inspections contribute more positively to construction and quality management processes and that it will help drive down costs.

The Zurich Inspection Portal allows customers to:

• Have inspections at exactly the time they want them without notice
• Access pictures, appropriate regulations or standards in addition to the usual brief note
• See what's happening on location and join discussions even when they can't be there in person
• Use a tool to help with their quality assurance programme and keep track of progress
• Demonstrate the energy conservation measures they've adopted by logging construction data at all stages of the build
• Gather valuable management information at no additional cost or effort
